The following are the conditions of entry and self-nomination for any of the Awards except for best oral and poster presentation offered by The Circular Economy for Climate and Environment (CECE) 2024 Conference in Sydney.

1. Award nominations are open to all industry and academic professionals regardless of their conference registration status. We however encourage the nominees to attend at least one of the conference sessions, or the gala dinner.

2. To be eligible, nominations must be submitted online via the CECE Conference website by 5.00pm AEST on the 31st of August 2024.

3. CECE organising committee may choose to extend the closing date and a notice will be placed on the CECE Conference website.

4. Applicants will be notified by email that their nomination has been received.

5. Individuals cannot be self-nominated for more than one award.

6. Applicants are responsible to check their eligibility against award’s criteria and guidelines. It’s also their responsibility to obtain copyright and other relevant rights prior to submitting their application.

7. Late applications submitted after the due date will not be accepted.

8. Applicants agree and consent that the CECE conference may use the details of award winners for media purposes. Also, Award winners give consent to be photographed, interviewed and/or filmed for use in any promotional material.

9. The CECE conference judging panel will check information provided by applicants to assess their nomination. This include the verification of claims made by applicants for any award. The decision in selecting the award winners by the judging panel is final and no further correspondence or complaints will be accepted afterwards.

10. The CECE conference accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or any personal injury sustained in connection with any of the awards offered.
