Implementation of Circular Economy Award

 

The “implementation of circular economy” Award will recognize industry professionals (individuals or teams) with an outstanding body of work in the design, development and implementation of circular-economy projects. This award will showcase outstanding, exceptional contributions to the circular economy field with a clear pathway to impact through translational research. The award is open to processes and technologies at different TRLs, and a special focus will be given to projects that have successfully demonstrated the scalability and economical soundness of such technologies. 

 

Eligibility criteria:

 

  • The award is directed to non-academic, industry professionals with no current affiliations to domestic or international Universities.

  • The project must have been conducted within the past three years.

  • Original research stemming from cross-disciplinary collaborations will be commended.

Application process:

   Applicants should include the following documents in their application

  • A detailed research summary highlighting the objectives, methodology, and key findings (Max. 500 words).

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume of the applicants (Max. 2 pages, Max. 1 MB).

  • Supporting documents such as research publications, patents, or any other relevant materials (Max. 2 MB).

  • Max three slides to highlight the objective, methodology and impact of the research conducted. The slides shall include max. two figures per page. (Max. 1 MB)

  • A short statement (100 words max) to discuss the alignment of their project or research work with the circular economy definition as framed by Circular Australia https://circularaustralia.com.au/​.
